Litchfield is lucky to have so many great parks and playgrounds for kids. My kids have swung, spun, and raced through many of them ... and definitely have their favorites!
Here’s a list of our family’s top five favorite parks and playgrounds in Litchfield and the reasons we love them:
Park name: Legion Memorial Park
Location: Hwy 22 South of Litchfield, on Lake Ripley.
Features: Partial fencing around each different age appropriate playsets, Splash pad, public bathrooms
What my kids love: Lots of things to climb on
What I love: Divided play areas by age
Park name: Central Park
Location: 300 N Sibley Ave, Litchfield, MN 55355
Features: Many benches to sit and relax, swings, lots of grass to run around in
What my kids love: The Big stage!
What I love: Nice park benches and tables to sit and watch my girls run
Park name: Prairie Park
Location: East Butler Street, Litchfield, MN 55355
Features: Sheltered picnic area
What my kids love: Big slide
What I love: Nature trail
Park name: Anderson Gardens
Location: 1324 S Sibley Ave, Litchfield, MN 55355
Features: Lots of flowers to see, pathed walkway, beautiful view of Lake Ripley
What my kids love: Playing in the gazebo
What I love: Nature!!
Park name: Lion's Park
Location: West Pleasure Drive, Litchfield, MN 55355
Features: View of Lake Ripley, off street parking lot
What my kids love: Rock sand to play in
What I love: Very Sheltered picnic area
